Closed Rotor UDK Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher

Closed rotor type UDK Vertical shaft crushersare preferred for crushing all stone types and highly abrasive materials. The inner faces of the rotor are covered with a cast liner. The outlets have diamonds that are highly resistant to abrasion and can be easily replaced. It works on the principle of “Rock on Rock”, that is, hitting stone against stone. The material fed through the circular groove falls onto the distributive liner in the center of the rotor, which rotates at very high speed. Thanks to the high-speed rotational motion in the rotor, a very strong centrifugal force is applied to the material falling into it. In this way, the material, which has a high amount of kinetic energy, is transported to the crushing chamber at very high speeds of 60 to 80 m/s. In this crushing chamber, it collides with the materials poured from the waterfall windows of the upper body, and the kinetic energy it has turns into an impact force here, and the size reduction process takes place. This ensures that the spare parts consumption is low and the efficiency of the UDK is quite high.
