High Performance Machines for Versatile Solutions

These state-of-the-art machines, which are offered at competitive prices, deliver a flexible and cost-efficient solution for producing slit reels of varying sizes on demand. Manufactured in the UK, they adhere to stringent European safety standards. The LS250 Log Slitter integrates the latest advancements in cutting technology, ensuring customers receive precise cuts, formatted accurately in length, with minimal effort, whenever needed.

The design of this machine aims to resolve all challenges related to the inventory and supply of pre-slit tape reels by allowing the production of diverse quantities straight from standard log widths. Operating the machine is straightforward; users simply input the desired cut length and quantity using a touch screen interface, and it is ready for operation in mere seconds. This information automatically adjusts the cutting and indexing parameters to ensure dependable performance.

Tim Self, Director of TS Converting, notes, “These units are tailored for Tape Distributors that are transitioning into Conversion.” He further adds, “We have delivered several units to both new and established Tape converters, and the package offers remarkable performance at incredibly low prices.”

Due to their outstanding performance, they are considering selling one of their Automatic Slitter Rewinders to allocate more production capacity to Log Slitting. Dean comments, “While the Automatic Slitter Rewinders excel in handling long runs of packaging tape, they lack the versatility provided by the log slitter, particularly as the demand for rapid delivery of smaller orders increases.”

Innovative Features of CW250 and TW250

The CW250 Compact and TW250 Turret machines are capable of rewinding any material to the desired length prior to log slitting. Additionally, the unwind mechanism is equipped with a peel-off roll that significantly reduces noise and the pulsing typically associated with self-adhesive products. The driven pull roll effectively manages both unwind and rewind tension, resulting in high-quality finished reels, regardless of the master roll quality.
