Now that you know which type of underwear you'd like, it's time to take some measurements. To ensure you get the right underwear size, you'll need to measure your waist and hips.

To get the right size, be sure to grab a soft body tape measure; standard construction measuring tapes won't give you an accurate measurement and aren't exactly comfortable.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR WAIST FOR UNDERWEAR SIZE

First, find the thinnest point of your waist, which is usually right above your belly button. With one hand, hold the starting point of the tape measure horizontally in the center of your abdomen and wrap the measuring tape around your waist snug, but not tight. The point where the measuring tape meets with the starting point is the width of your waist.

Don't suck in or hold your breath when measuring - just breathe as you normally would.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HIPS FOR UNDERWEAR SIZE

Find the widest point above your member and hold the starting point of the tape measure there with one hand. Wrap the measuring tape around and back to the starting point snug - but not tight - against your body to find your hip size.

To get the exact size, be sure that the measuring tape sits around the top of your glutes.
